“Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different.
Enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will).
Being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won’t).”
James Baraz
Over the course of 8-weeks, you’ll learn a simple and practical, step-by-step process to change the way you experience life’s challenges and better understand yourself. We’ll use Dr Bruno Cayoun’s Mindfulness-integrated CBT (MiCBT), which incorporates numerous skills and principles from both mindfulness and cognitive behaviour therapy.
Benefits from learning in a group
Learning as part of a group program improves engagement and commitment to the daily mindfulness practice. You get the opportunity to be encouraged and supported by others in the group as you make progress. Most importantly, you’ll realise that you are not alone in your experiences and challenges.
