UTS Research Project, conducted under the supervision of Dr Alice Shires.
The purpose of this research/online survey is to validate a newly developed scale measuring equanimity in sexual and gender minorities (SGM). Furthermore, the study seeks to explore the relationship between equanimity and well-being for SGM through authenticity. Previous research has shown mindfulness is related to how authentic one is to their self and their well-being, and we hope to gain further understanding of how this relates within SGM.
