The MiCBT Institute is proud to celebrate a landmark achievement for the Vietnamese MiCBT community. Mai Thi Viet Thang, M.Ed., NCC — therapist, clinician, and tireless MiCBT advocate — has completed the Vietnamese translation of the MiCBT Workbook for Depression and Anxiety, and a special book launch event will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on 16 May 2026.
This is Mai’s second MiCBT translation. Last year saw the Vietnamese launch of Bruno A. Cayoun’s 2011 foundational text, MiCBT: Principles and Practice. Now, with the workbook complete, Vietnamese-speaking clinicians have access to MiCBT tools — both the theoretical grounding and the structured, session-by-session resource for working with clients on depression and anxiety.

The MiCBT Institute is deeply grateful to Mai Thi Viet Thang for her extraordinary dedication.Translating a clinical therapy text requires not only linguistic skill but an intimate understanding of the approach — and she has done this twice, with care and precision, opening MiCBT to an entire language community.
We also note, with hope, that a third translation may one day follow: MiCBT for Well-Being and Personal Growth. The seeds are planted.
Warmest congratulations to Mai, to her colleagues at ICCD, and to the entire Vietnamese MiCBT community. 🙏
