Students who have attended the modules and successfully completed the 10 units of competency will receive a nationally accredited Vocational Graduate Diploma in Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Students will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for each successfully completed unit of competency.
Students may attend any of the courses offered by the MiCBT Institute without having to enrol in the Vocational Graduate Diploma. In such case, they are not required to provide evidence of competency, as per the criteria expected for the qualification, and will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Participants who have attended one of the courses and obtained a Certificate of Attendance can enrol in the Vocational Graduate Diploma and claim Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). They will need to demonstrate competency for each unit applied for, as per the standard assessment criteria.
The first step is to enrol in the Vocatinal Graduate Diploma. An RPL kit will then be sent to the student. The fee for RPL assessment is a non-refundable fee of AU$240/unit for Module 1, $910/unit for Module 2 and $625/unit for Module 3. These fees include up to two assessments if needed (if there are gaps in your evidence.) The decision to approve RPL for a unit will depend on the student’s ability to show evidence of current competencies and rests with the Accreditation Board.
If past competencies cannot be demonstrated or are too old (maximum four years validity), the student will be able to undertake individual supervision (at standard supervision rate) to update past skills and enable the demonstration of current competencies.
The MiCBT Institute is committed to providing up-to-date and relevant RPL information to all students during enrolment and whilst enrolled. The MiCBT Institute staff will provide support and guidance regarding RPL enquiries.
All applicants for RPL will be provided with a copy of the relevant unit of competency and evidence requirements for the units in question.
