New MiCBT Courses for 2013: Ireland and Canada

Registration is now open for people wishing to further their Mindfulness-integrated CBT training in Canada and Ireland: 

MiCBT Foundation Course, Canada, commencing 7 September 

MiCBT Applied Course, Ireland. commencing 14 September 

Both courses will be taught by Dr Cayoun, and pre-requisites apply.

Due to demand, we are please to announce there will be a second MiCBT Foundation Course in Canada. This online course will commence SUNDAY 16 June, and run for 7 Sundays, until July 28. For detailed schedule and registration, see Excellence in Practice.

Please note that in order to take part in the Online Foundation Course you must attend one of the 2-day workshops offered by Dr. Bruno Cayoun in Canada (Vancouver, Ottawa, or Toronto).

The May MiCBT Foundation Course was fully booked over 4 weeks ago, and due to increasing demand, we are pleased to announce that we are running a second MiCBT Foundation Course.  The online classes for this course will be taught by Alice Shires. The teaching dates and times are identical to the advertised MiCBT Foundation Course classes, beginning 18 May, with Sally Francis.

CANADA - MiCBT Workshops commencing soon!

Dr Cayoun will be presenting MiCBT Workshops for Mental Health Professionals in Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto, commencing this month. 

Through a combination of lecture, videos of real-life MiCBT therapy sessions, role plays and guided meditation, you will learn specific mindfulness-based interventions to help your clients develop interpersonal skills, new exposure methods and relapse prevention techniques. This workshop will expand your understanding of operant conditioning and provide a strong neuro-behavioural basis for integrating mindfulness training with traditional CBT. No prior knowledge of mindfulness is assumed, but basic skills in cognitive and behavioural techniques are recommended.

These workshops are planned in collaboration with Leading Edge Seminars, Excellence in Practice and Jack Hirose and Associates.
